Afghanistan Independence Day - 20 August 2022. We celebrated Afghanistan’s Independence Day at the Mt Roskill War Memorial Hall with an evening of speeches, dance and music. Hon Phil Twyford, Associate Minister of Immigration, attended. We enjoyed delectable food and were pleased that so many of the community could be part of the celebration.
